Brenda Dickinson

Ms. Dickinson and her husband, Craig, were pioneers in the present-day home education movement. She became the President of the Home Education Foundation after the death of her husband in 1993. As a result of her lobbying work on behalf of home educators in the Florida Capitol, home educated students enjoy participation in dual enrollment, Bright Futures Scholarships, music and sports extracurricular activities, Florida Virtual School, and Gardiner Scholarships. Brenda has been our advocate in the Florida Capitol for more than 35 years.
